Ryan Folkes
Area Representative
Ryan Folkes serves as an Area Representative with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, ministering within the University of Arkansas athletic department. His work centers on discipling male student-athletes and coaches through Bible studies, one-on-one mentorship, and helping lead the weekly Multi-Sport Huddle on Monday nights. Originally from Colleyville, Texas, Ryan graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2014. In June of 2015 he married his wife, Susie, and together they are raising their family in Northwest Arkansas. Ryan joined FCA in April of 2021 after sensing a clear call from God to invest in the lives of athletes and coaches. Since then, he has had the opportunity to walk alongside student-athletes from every men’s program at Arkansas—including football, baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, and track—helping them grow in their faith and leadership. Ryan is passionate about seeing athletes know Christ deeply and use the influence of their platform to impact their teams, their communities, and the generations that follow.
